Attahiyyat

Supplication (Dua)

Attahiyyatu Lillahi wassolawatu

wattayyibatu as-salamu alayka

ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa rahmatullahi

wa barakatuhu. Assalamu  alayna

wa ‘ala ‘ibadil laahis-soliheen.

Ashhadu al laa ilaha illal lahu

wa ashhadu anna muhammadan

‘abduhu  wa rasooluhu.

Translation

Worship of all tongues, worship of the body, worship of money is for Allah, peace be upon you, O Prophet and Allah’s mercy and blessings, peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness. I give that Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the servant and messenger of Allah

Dua-e-qunoot

Allahumma inna nasta-eenuka wa nastaghfiruka wa nu’minu bika wana tawakkalu alaika wa nusni alaikal khair, wa nashkuruka wala nakfuruka wa nakhla-oo wa natruku mai yafjuruka,

Allahumma iyyaka na’budu wa laka nusolli wa nasjudu wa ilaika nas aaa wa nahfidu wa narju rahmataka wa nakhshaa azaabaka inna azaabaka bil kuffari mulhiqh.

 

Translation

Divine! We ask you for help and we ask your forgiveness and we believe in you And they trust in Thee, and the arrows praise Thee very well, and give thanks to Thee, and do not disbelieve Thee, and separate, and leave the one who disobeys Thee. Alby! To You we worship and to You we pray, and to Him we prostrate, and to You, we turn and rush, and to You, we hope for Your Mercy and  Your Punishment Indeed, Your punishment is about to reach the disbelievers.

Hadith in English

Hazrat Amru ibn Shoaib narrates from his father and grandfather that the Prophet (PBUH) said: Command your children to pray when they are seven years old.  Beat them for not praying at the age of ten and when they reach that age (put their siblings to separate beds). Advantage: It should be done in such a way that it does not cause any physical harm and does not hit the face.

Hazrat Amru bin Shoaib apne baap aur dada ke hawalay se riwayat karte hain ke Rasoolulllah (SAW) ne irshad apne bachon ko saat saal ki Umar mein namaz ka hukum kiya karo. Das saal ki Umar mein namaz na padhnay ki wajah se inhen maro aur is Umar mein pahonch kar (behan bhai ko alahida alahida bistaron par sulao.

faida : Maar aisi ho ke jis se koi jismani nuqsaan na pahunche neez chehray par nah marain.

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘AbbaS (RA) that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

Whoever leaves the prayer will meet Allah in such a way that Allah will be very angry with him.

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasoolullah (SAW) ne irshad farmaya: Jis shakhs ne namaz chode di wo Allah ta’ala se aisi haalat mein miley ga ke Allah is se sakht naraaz honge
