The advice of Hazrat Luqmaan (AS) to his son
HAZRAT LUQMAAN KI NASEEHAT
Hadith in English
Hazrat Luqman advised his son: Son do not treat people indifferently and do not walk arrogantly on earth. Indeed, Allah does not like the arrogant boastful ones. And be moderate in your gait and (lower your voice when speaking, that is, do not make noise) (if speaking loudly was a miracle, the donkey’s voice would be good, whereas) the worst voice is the donkey’s voice.

Hazrat luqmaan ne apne betay ko naseehat (Beta) logon se be rukhi ka bartao na kiya karo aur zameen par mutakabbiranah chaal se na chala karo, beshak Allah takabbur karne walay shekhi maarne walay ko pasand nahi karte aur apni chaal mein etedaal Ikhtiyaar karo aur (bolnay mein apni aawaz ko pust karo yani shore mat machao) (agar onche aawaz se bolna hi koi kamaal hota to gadhay ki aawaz achi hoti jab ke) awazon mein sab se buri aawaz gadhon ki aawaz hai.

Translation
O Allah, we present you
(for our protection) against
these enemies and seek
refuge from their evil.

The Advice of Noah (AS) to his son
Hadith in English:
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah said: Shall I not tell you the will that Noah (PBUH)) made to his son? The Companions asked: Tell me. He said: Noah (PBUH) said in his will to his son:
My son I enjoin you to do two things and forbid you to do two things. On the one hand, I command you to say Laa ilaha illal laah, because if this word is placed in one scale and all the heavens and the earth are placed in one scale, then the scale of the word will be lowered and if all the heavens and the earth are one.
Even if it is surrounded, this word will break that siege and reach Allah Almighty.
The second thing I command is to recite Subhanallahil Azeemi wabi hamdihi because it is the worship of all creatures and with its blessings, the creatures are provided with sustenance.
And I forbid you from two things, from polytheism and from arrogance, these two evils turn the servant away from Allah.

Noah (AS) ki Naseehat apne bete ko
Hadith in Roman Urdu:
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasoolullah (SAW) ne irshad farmaya : kya mein tumhe woh wasiyyat na batau jo Hazrat Nooh ( AS ) ne –apne betay ko ki thi? sahaba (RA) ne arz kiya : zaroor bataye. irshad farmaya :
Hazrat Nooh ( AS ) ne-apne betay ko wasiyyat mein farmaya : mere betay! tum ko do kaam karne ki wasiyyat karta hoon aur do kamon se rokta hoon.
Ek tho mein tumhe laa ilaha illallaah ke kehnay ka hukum karta hoon kyunkay agar yeh kalmah ek paladeh mein rakh diya jaaye aur tamam aasman aur zameen ko ek paladeh mein rakh diya jaaye tho kalmah wala paladeh jhuk jaaye ga aur agar tamam aasman ko ek ghera bana diya jaaye tho bhi yeh kalmah is ghere ko tod kar Allah taala tak pahonch kar rahay ga.
Doosri cheez jis ka hukum deta hoon woh subhanallahil azeemi wabi hamdihi ka padhna hai kyun kay yeh tamam makhlooq ki ibadat hai aur is ki barkat se makhlooqaat ko rozi di jati hai. Aur mein tum ko do baton se rokta hoon shirk se aur takabbur se kyunkay yeh dono buraiyan bandah ko Allah taala se door kar deti hain.
