Hadith in English

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrt Abdullah bin ‘Aufi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever has a need from Allah or a need from a servant, he should perform ablution and perform ablution properly, then recite two rakats and praise Allah. And recite blessings on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and pray to Allah in this way.

Supplication

Laa ilaha illal lahul-Haleemul kareem. Subhanallahi rabbil ‘arshil `azeem. Al-Hamdulil lahi rabbil ‘Aalameen. Asaluka moojibati rahmatika, wa `aza’ima maghfiratika,wal ghaneemata min kulli birr, was-salamata min kulli ism. La tada` li zanban illa ghafartahu, wala hamman illa farrajtahu, wala hajatan hiya laka rizan illa qazaytaha ya arhamar-rahimeen.

Translation

There is no god but Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Glory be to God, who is the Lord of the Great Throne. All praise is due to God, the Lord of the worlds. I ask You for all the means that are necessary for Your mercy and all those means are for You. Forgiveness is guaranteed And I ask for a free share of every good deed like booty and peace from every sin. Do not leave any of my sins which you do not forgive and do not worry about which you do not deliver and there is no one who is hardened.

Do not turn away, and do not remove any affliction which you do not relieve, nor any need which is a cause of your pleasure which you do not fulfill, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

Hazrt Abdullah bin ‘Aufi (RA) se riwayat hai ke Huzoor (SAW) ne irshaad farmaya ke jise Allah se koi haajat ho ya kisi bandeh se koi haajat ho wazu kare aur achchi tarah wazu kare phir do rakatein padhkar Allah ki tareef kare aur Rasoolullah (SAW) par Darood padhe aur Allah se Dua kare

TAHAJJUD KI DUA

Hadith in english

When the Prophet (PBUH) got up at night to offer the Tahajjud prayer, he used to say

Dua for Tahajjud

Allahumma lakal-hamdu anta
qayyimus-samawati wal-arz

wa man fihinna walakal-hamdu
Laka mulkus-samawati wal-arz

wa man fihinna walakal-hamdu
anta noorus-samawati wal-arz.

Wa lakal-hamdu antal-haq
wa wa’duka-haq,

wa liqa’uka haq, wa qauluka haq,
wal-jannatu haq, wan-naru haq

wannabiyuna haq,
Wa Muhammadun (SAW) haq,

was-sa’atu haq.
Allahumma Laka aslamtu

wabika aamantu,
wa ‘Alaika tawakkaltu,

wa ilaika anabtu
wa bika khasamtu,

wa ilaika hakamtu
faghfir li ma qaddamtu

wama akh-khartu
wama as-rartu

wama a’alantu, antal-muqaddim
wa antal muakh-khir,

la ilaha illa ant wala
ilaha ghairuka).

Dua

A’auzu bikalimatil lahit taammati min gazabihi wa ‘iqhabihi wa sharri ‘ibadihi wa min hamazaatish shayateen wa aien yahzuroon

Translation

I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from His wrath, from His torment, from the evil of His servants and from the whispers of the devils and that the devils come to me through the complete, pure and perfect Qur’anic words.
