Walidain Ki Khidmat

Ek naujawan apne walidain ka bada adab karta tha aur har waqt un ki khidmat mein mashgool rehta tha. Jab walidain kaafi Umar Raseedah ho gaye tho is ke bhaiyon ne mahswara kiya ke kyun nah apni jaedad ko walidain ki zindagi mein hi taqseem kar liya jaye taake baad mein koi jhagda na ho. Is naujawan ne kaha ke aap jaedad ko aapas mein taqseem kar len aur is ke badlay mujhe – apne walidain ki khidmat ka kaam supurd karden. Doosray bhaiyon ne raghbat se ye kaam is ke supurd kar diya. Ye naujawan sara din mehnat mazdoori karta phir ghar aakar baqiya waqt – apne walidain ki khidmat aur biwi bachon ki dekh bhaal mein guzarta, waqt guzarta raha hatta ke is ke walidain ka intqaal hogaya.

Ek martaba ye naujawan raat ko soraha tha ke is ne khwab mein dekha ke koi kehnay wala usay keh raha hai, Ae naujawan! tum ne – apne walidain ka adab kiya, un ko raazi o khush rakha, is ke badlay tumhe inaam diya jaye ga. Jao falan chattaan ke neechay ek deenaar pada hai woh utha lo, is mein tumahray liye barkat rakh di gayi hai. yeh naujawan subah ke waqt bedaar huwa tho is ne chattaan ke neechay ja kar dekha tho usay ek deenaar pada hua mila. Is ne deenaar uttha liya aur khushi khushi ghar ki taraf rawana huwa raastay mein ek machhli ki dukaan ke qareeb se guzarte hue usay khayaal aaya ke is deenaar ke badlay mein ek badi machhli khareed li jaye taakay biwi bachay aaj is ke kabaab bana kar khayen.

Is ne deenaar ke badlay ek badi machhli khareed li jab ghar wapas aaya tho is ki biwi ne machhli ko pakanay ke liye kaatna shuru kiya, pait chaak kiya tho is mein se ek qeemti heera nikla naujawan is heere ko dekh kar khush hogaya, jab bazaar ja kar is heere ko becha tho is ki itni qeemat mili ke is ki saari zindagi ka kharcha poora ho sakta hai.

A young man used to respect his parents and was always engaged in their service. When the parents became old enough, his brothers suggested that why not divide their property during the lifetime of the parents so that there would be no quarrel later. The young man said that you should divide the property among yourselves and in return entrust me with the work of serving your parents. The other brothers willingly entrusted this work to him. This young man would work hard all day and then come home and spend the rest of the time serving his parents and taking care of his wife and children. Time passed until his parents passed away.

Once this young man was sleeping at night when he dreamed that someone was saying to him, O young man! You have done good to your parents, kept them satisfied and happy, you will be rewarded in return. Go, there is a dinar lying under such a rock, pick it up. It has been blessed for you. When this young man woke up in the morning, he went under the rock and found a dinar lying there. He took the dinar and went home happily. While passing by a fish shop on the way, he thought that he should buy a big fish for this dinar so that his wife and children would cook it and eat it today.

So he bought a big fish for a dinar. When he returned home, his wife started cutting the fish to cook. A precious diamond came out of it. The young man was happy to see this diamond. When he went to the market and sold this diamond, he got such a price that his entire life’s expenses were fulfilled.
